BOWIE-DICK TEST

The Bowie-Dick test is a technique used to control the correct functioning of an autoclave periodically. This test verifies the air removal capability and steam penetration into the load, which are crucial for the effectiveness of the sterilization process. The chemical indicator within the single-use ready pack includes designated spaces for the operator to record test data (date, operator, autoclave, result), which can be archived in accordance with current regulations. In compliance with ISO 11140-1 (Class 2) and they are tested according to ISO 11140-4.
