National Classification of Medical Devices (CND - for Italian law)

The "National Classification of Medical Devices" (CND) defines the various types of Medical Devices and In Vitro Diagnostic Medical Devices by Category. This classification was established by Italian Ministry of Health Decree of 20 February 2007, published in the Ordinary Supplement to Official Gazette no. 63 of March 16, 2007.

The C.N.D. does not apply to "General Laboratory use" and "Personal Protective Equipment" products.
